My first review!!

So this is basically me review of most of the One 'N Only Argan Line. I gave it four out of five stars. Also, putting the Hydrating Mask on was a little difficult because of the thick texture but rinsing it out was a breeze.

OILS!!!

I am in LOVE with OILS!! All kinds, mixes, and blends! They have so many uses and are just all around great. Here are several of my favorite oils, what I use them for, and where I get them from, and their prices.

One' N Only Argan Oil - Sally's Beauty Suppy, about 8 dollars. I use this oil for sealing and flat ironing. It smells nice and goes on smooth. Is it worth the money? Yes. Do I want to try the rest of this line because of it?? YES!

African Pride Olive Miracle Anti-Breakage Formula Maximum Strength Growth Oil (^.^ long name) - Sally's Beauty Supply, about 3 dollars. I use this delicious blend of oils for hot oil treatments as well as on my skin after a shower to seal in moisture. This oil includes wheat germ oil, coconut oil, grapeseed oil, and of course olive oil among other things. It was also my primary sealant for several months until I found Argan oil.. The smell is light and pleasant but it does linger for a minute...

MegaCare Grapeseed Oil-Local BBS, some dollar stores, and the internet for about a dollar. My new found oil of choice is this. I stumbled upon this at a local bss (beauty supply store) and fell in love. It heals my itchy scalp and absorbs well without being too greasy if i add too much. It has a light flowery fragrance that also lingers. This oil is apart of a series of oil mixes include olive oil, vitamin E oil, tea tree oil, and carrot oil. I have these but have yet to try them... This oil mix includes grapeseed as the main oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, sunflower oil, olive oil, wheat germ oil, AND vitamin E oil! Whew! This tube is a army all in itself!

So tell me ladies what oils are y'all using??

March 2011 relaxer

This is what my hair looks like currently after my second relaxer and first dusting of the year. I am full APL ^.^ . I am already 4 months into my healthy hair journey and still have not gotten a consistent regimen. Basically, I do what ever I feel my hair needs at the moment. I soon will post about the products I use and what I want to try. Happy Hair Growing!!!

Getting Bored!!!

It happens to the best of us-we get bored with our hair!! Well sadly, when I get bored I pick up the scissors.  This time, however, I was not going to cut any of my major length-I'd rather NOT be devastated in the morning that is wasn't all a dream : O What I did do was cut my own bangs for the first time ever!! I think I did a great job with nothing but some Argan oil and 10 dollar shears :)

The Beginning: Growing my hair out 2011

Let me introduce myself-I am ChelseaTiara,Christian, student, and hair fanatic! I have always been a big fan of long healthy hair. Recently, I've decided to be more active in caring for my own hair as well as growing it longer than it has ever been before. Even though my schedule is hectic and busy, one of the things i always have time for is taking the best care of my hair possible. So far, I have learned to self relax, self trim, and braid/style my own hair. I am going to document my journey to help me as well as other ladies who want to grow healthy relaxed hair. This picture is of my first touch up of the year 1/1/11 and my first self trim. My hair is also dyed in the picture but it is perfectly healthy :) What a great starting point!
